The Benefits of Going "Stag!"

No this is not a blog about the benefits of being single. But it is one about the benefits of being single and going to prom SOLO>>> lol.
So every year when Prom rolls around girls stress themselves out trying so desperatly hard to find a date. Then the epitome of failure eats them alive when they cant find a date. Sometimes so bad to the point that they wont even go because of the embarassment of not having a date. Well... FORGET THAT! Go "stag", or SOLO as we now call it! Show up with your girls, and have fun! It's one of your last chances to party and hang out with your classmates! It should be enjoyed and it should be fun! SO dont sit at home and cry about not having a date! It's less stress! Just get a dress and GOOOO!
But below I have composed a list *not to convince you to go alone* but to prove to you that going alone isn't all bad! Although i'm sure we'd all like to have a date, sometimes it just doesn't work out... But here it is anyways.

20 REASONS WHY IT'S O.K. TO GO SOLO TO PROM!

*and still have fun*

1. No Date NO problem.

2. Because it's better to go alone than not go at all! You'll regret it when all your friends come back with their stories of how prom went.

3. If You go alone you don't have to concern yourself with the where abouts of your date all night. Nobody wants to play baby sitter!

4. Depicting on who your date is he might be "trippy" and be on your back all night. Nobody wants to be on lock down all night either!

5. You can dance with whoever you want! No restrictions or just dancing with your date.

6. How many times do you honestly get to dress up this extravagantly? Dont miss the opportunity just because you dont have a date!

7. It's one of the last times you get to party with your entire senior class!

8. Although it's nice to have a date to slow dance with, honestly how many slow songs are they going to play? 2 or 3? Take that as a photo opp. or a bathroom, refreshment break!

9. There's always that awkwardness whenever parents meet your guy friends. If you dont have a date, you luckily just avoided getting all kinds of speeches about "not having sex after prom" and some lucky guy just avoided getting the 3rd degree.

10. It's less stress.

11. You dont have to coordinate colors, and dispute with a uncooperative date. All you have to worry about is yourself.

12. No awkward photo's of you hugging your date. When you take pics it's all about you! SPOTLIGHT!who doesn't like feeling like a celebrity?

13. People pay attention to you and compliment you on your dress, rather than gossiping about you and your date.

14. If your going solo, link up with other people going solo and make it a group thing!

15. Your not the only one!

16. If going "stag" is such a bad thing then be BOLD and ask a guy rather than waiting on a guy to ask you!

17. There's no awkwardness between you and your date, especially if your date is someone you dont know that well.

18. There's no pressure or expectancy of you to do anything you don't want to after prom.

19. After prom you dont have to worry about hanging with your date. You can go where ever the party goes!

20. Your going to have fun whether you go solo or with a date. It's just important that you go and have fun! make it a night to remember!

The Decisions we make...

So many times in our lives we have to make hard decisions. Sometimes we sit and contemplate these decisions, sometimes we make them quickly. Sometimes we make the right decision, sometimes we make the right decision. Sometimes we make the wrong decision thinking it was right. There are so many decisions that have to be made and are unavoidable, but the worst part about making a decision is the after affects. So many times have we had to live with the decisons that we make. And so many times have we contemplated if we made the right decision or is there any way to undo what we've done. Unfortunantly there is no way to undo what's been done. There's no way to rewind the hands of time. We just have to live with it, and hope for the best.
Especially when it comes to the ones you love. Decisions are so important. They can tear families apart, and break up relationships. Especially if you dont think it through clearly. If you make rash decisions then consequences are bound to happen. The question is can you live with those consequences. Especially the ones that come with your relationship.Some decisions can make or break you. And unfortunantly the ones that break you do happen. And when they do you can either try to fix it or leave it alone. And sometimes you have to ask yourself is it even worth fixing?
Decisions are hard. Sometimes you just cant deal with it... Sometimes it's just too much. Decisions and Choices. They're apart of life...

Those moments...

All Good things must come to an End...

We live for the moments that we'll never forget. We live for those moments of pure bliss and happiness. Those moments are what we live for. But they're called moments for a reason. They don't last forever. And All good things must come to an end at some point. They can't last forever. And this can be related to many different things. This can be related to someone who may have lost a loved one, went through a break up, or is going through a rough patch in life. Everything at one point was all good, and then suddenly everything took a turn for the worst. But if we give up, there wont ever be any more good times. So hold your head up and look forward to those moments that are sure to come.
