Gun Control

We all like to think of ourselves as good people. We all think that were decent human beings right? Or at least i'd like to think that everyone considers themselves as a good person, but I know that we don't live in a perfect world, and no one is without their flaws, and that there are some people in the world who are bad people. People who do evil things that are hurtful to not only the victims but to everyone nation wide. If you haven't guessed i'm referring to the Newton school shooting. Innocent children, killed for no reason at all, and even if there were reason no child should have to loose their life, and I cant even imagine a reason that someone would think it was reasonable to kill a child. It was heartbreaking to sit and watch the news and see images from the school of parents crying, mourning the loss of their child. I can't imagine what it would be like to loose a child. Especially when they're so young and had their whole lives ahead of them. I can imagine however, that it was extremely hard to loose them right before the holidays... Those parents had probably purchased gifts for their kids, and now their kids aren't here... That's sad. It really is. And to think that one man did this. One man, for who knows what reason. Whatever the reason was it wasn't right. It was just wrong. I'm honestly one to stay in my lane, and mind my business, but i couldn't keep silent on this one. Imagine if that had've been your little sister, brother, niece, nephew or cousin. Imagine how hurt you'd be. That tragedy could've easily occurred at any given school. Any of us could be going through that. My heart goes out to the families of the students who lives were lost, and even the students who were lucky enough to make it out of there alive. Going through an event like that at a young age can be traumatizing... It can seriously damage them, and haunt them all their lives. My heart and prayers go out to all of them.
Here in America something needs to be done. We have people, and now children dying over senseless violence. People getting shot over Jordans, teens taking guns to parties just incase something "pops off" and innocent people are the ones getting killed. This is stupid. We need stricter gun laws. We cant just issue a gun license to every american because "They have the right to bear arms." Yea, o.k. So lets just give everyone a gun... yeah, there'd be a major decrease in american population, and a major increase in the funeral business. There needs to be background checks and psychiatric examinations given to those in attempt to acquire a gun permit. Also guns should not be sold to anyone without a license. Therefore making fire arms harder to acquire and therefore decreasing gun violence here in america. And those that are caught with a firearm without a license need to have their weapon confiscated and put on a 3 strike policy. Possessing a firearm without a permit would be the equivalent of a misdemeanor. After so many chances you have to suffer the consequence. But of coarse that's just my opinion. But seriously something needs to be done about this. Anyone can easily be killed with a gun... Anyone. Keep that in mind.
